Located on the eastern side of Maharashtra, Gadchiroli is a municipal council and a city situated in the Gadchiroli district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Gadchiroli is popularly known for its lush green forest areas whose beauty doubles during the monsoon season. Due to its forest areas, teak is commercially grown in the region and bamboos are used for several craftworks. Gadchiroli district is counted among one of the largest land areas in Maharashtra state. The location is surrounded by teak wood forest that becomes an attraction for the locals. Gadchiroli is connected to several regions such a Nagpur, Bhandara and Gondia by roads. However, there is no rail transportation facility in Gadchiroli but the only railway station nearby Gadchiroli is located in the Wadsa or Desaiganj.
