Wani is known as the 3rd largest city in the Yevatmal district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The locality is situated in the eastern part of the Yevatmal district as it borders the Chandrapur district. Being a crucial locality and a strong market, Wani is a major commercial hub despite a taluka place.
