Located in the Chandrapur district of the Indian state of Maharashtra, Mul is a municipal council and a popular town that is well connected to Somnath, a well-known tourist spot via roads. Mul is a place to many major tourist localities that make it a major attraction for living. It has proximity to Somnath, markandadeo and a lord shiva temple is also situated on the banks of the Wainganga river that is believed to be a sacred place to worship lord shiva. Mul is mainly popular for rice production as it has 53 rice mills that cover 90% of the rice production in the whole of Chandrapur district. However, the education facilities are not much of a talk in Mul town so people have to travel to faraway places for the same.
